Troed y Rhiw Farm

Box Scheme

Troed y Rhiw offers a weekly or fortnightly box of fresh, seasonal organic produce direct to your door within a four mile radius of the farm. Outside this range, you can pick your box up from the farm or arrange a pick up from one of our weekly market stalls. Box sizes available:

  • Small box (1–2 people) at £10
  • Large box (2-4 people) at £15
  • Extra large box for large families or people who really like their veg at £20.

Freshness is a priority for our produce. We aim to pick and deliver our produce to you within 24 hours. Staying local allows us to keep the taste that freshness delivers. If there are things you don't like, we can accommodate up to two exclusions in vegetable boxes. All produce is Soil Association organically certified.

June–December, produce is taken wholly from what is grown on the farm and includes some of the best tomatoes you’ll ever eat and a wide range of vegetables from cucumbers, courgettes, and french beans, to patty pan squash, cavolo nero kale, and Japanese aubergines.

January–May, farm produce is supplemented by vegetables sourced through OrganicFreshFoods and bought from other Welsh and U.K. growers.

Holiday Boxes and Special Orders
Troed y Rhiw also provides one-off ‘holiday’ boxes and special orders to visitors in the area. You can pre-book a box for your arrival or contact us by email or phone for a box available within 24 hours.

Order a Box
Contact us by email or phone for more information on the box scheme and to order a box. Please let us know your name, address, post code, phone number and the size of box you would like, along with frequency (holiday box, weekly or fortnightly) and the best way to contact you. We’ll confirm receipt of your order.

What’s in my box?
Our box scheme is always focused on seasonal produce. Download a monthly list of what the farm is growing for a sneak peak at what might be turning up on your table.

To help make the most of your box, we post a monthly recipe utilizing some of the contents of your box. The recipes are tried and tested and for the most part, simple to make. It’s a great way to explore new vegetables or expand your repertoire for cooking.
